As described, quite cosy. Toilets could do with a bit of work though.
Really delicious food let down by bad service, I'm sorry to say. I spied this new takeaway opening near us, and we ordered on Wednesday night. I think it had been open about a week but you'd think it was their first night from the issues we had. Firstly, Graeme had a few problems putting in our order on the phone. The first time they didn't answer, the second time it took quite a few repeats of our order to get it right. The order was going to be about 20 minutes which was perfect. We then waited, and waited, and waited some more. An hour passed, and when Graeme phoned to see where it was they told us the order hadn't gone through to the kitchen. So then we waited some more, probably about 20 minutes. Finally our food was here! Hurrah! But it was wrong BOO. The delivery guy quoted something around the £50 mark, ouch. He also told us our order was given to the wrong people, which is different from what the person on the phone told us. They'd charged us for 3 full sized portions of soft shell crab when we'd only ordered one 1/2 portion. We got that sorted out so the bill came to a more reasonable £26 (but still more expensive than we wanted to pay as they charged us for the full portion of crab). There was nothing extra added to our order to make up for the delay, and nothing knocked off the bill. This really spoiled what was a lovely meal as I was pretty annoyed about it all. The crab was delicious, the chicken satay was good and the prawn crackers and rice were great. That's the only reason they get 3 stars, after all the mistakes along the way.
Good friendly bar
