They have the best coffee available (huge fan of their frosts especially during the hot summer time). I strongly recommend checking out the menu, Layla?s has a variety tochoose from! The place?s atmosphere is super comfortable and spacious. The staff is friendly and willing to make your stayhospitable and enjoyable. I could not ask for more because everything that I needed was provided. Well done, Layla?s Staff!!Keep making great coffee and food!
If you're looking for an industrial bistro style atmosphere for lunch, this is it. Lots of delicious sandwich and panini options that are great and perfectly sized for having for oneself or splitting with another. I ordered the muffaletta and split it withmy spouse, along with a cup of the Soup of the Day being a white chicken chili. The selection of cafe beverages has somethingfor everyone. I'm definitely a fan of the white chocolate mocha. Lastly, save room for dessert! The tiramisu was fantastic androunded out the lunch fabulously. Jasmine was our excellent server. She was very welcoming and attentive, helping us navigatethe menu and answering all of our questions.
My partner and I decided to visit this charming little spot after reading the positive reviews. While it has a quaint atmosphere, we ultimately felt a bit let down. The coffee selection was decent, but if you prefer traditional espresso drinks like a proper macchiato or cortado, you might be disappointed, as those options seem to be lacking. We ordered the portobello panini and the shrimp roll on a brioche bun. Both were average and somewhat bland — the word "serviceable" kept coming to mind during our meal. Although we didn't leave hungry, we don’t anticipate rushing back to try any other dishes. We didn’t sample any of their pastries or cakes, but the older patrons around us appeared to enjoy them.
We had a fantastic experience at this coffee café. The blended Blondie and the hot, gooey cinnamon roll are essential treats. We both ordered the French toast breakfast and loved it. The service was friendly and quick, and overall, the food and coffee were excellent.
I ordered a turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich on a croissant, and it was enormous—definitely the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time! They grilled the turkey before adding it to the sandwich, which was a nice touch. I also got grits because I love them in the South, and they were decent, though nothing to write home about. We enjoyed it so much that we returned a few days later. Plus, it's super affordable, which is a major bonus! Who doesn’t love that?
