Safari Club - Gulf Shores

Who would have thought a restaurant this good could be located right next to a zoo! My wife and I had our anniversary lunch here and we were both very pleasantly surprised how good it was. Plus, all the employees were A+. We started with the coconut shrimp appetizer amazing. And for our lunch items, my wife chose Grandma 's Salad and I went with the Chicken Salad Plate . Both dishes were awesome! Again, the service was top notch. We will definitely be back and I can 't wait to try the Singapore Chicken Satay appetizer. (After your lunch, be sure to go thru the cutest little zoo around.

Good menu, food was good. Took longer to get seated and served than expected, although many tables were open. Could tell they were short on staff today. But the staff that was there did the best they could.

Not your average zoo restaurant! It?s so much more. A beautiful facility and a unique menu to boot. For the off the path dining choice in the area, I recommend Safari Club! 2022 EDIT: It?s still good! Try the crab cake entree, great mix of flavors!

I cannot brag enough about how wonderful our experience here was! After poor planning on my part, (every restaurant in Gulf Shores had a 2+ hour wait) we came across this Gem! The decor and theme is great for the kiddos, live good music for us to relax to and the food was actually delicious. Our only regret was not finding this place sooner! Our whole trip we had been overpaying and waiting hours for subpar food at the popular spots in town. This place was a nice change of scenery. Not overly crowded and had free parking. This place is a must, we cannot wait to come back!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! We thought we were going to a restaurant/club and were stunned when we pulled up to the ZOO?! Our server was Kris. She welcomed us right in even though we were the last ones in the building. Im a very picky eater and she was so sweet about me customizing my meal and even gave me recommendations that aren?t even on the menu. If you want something here.. ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE. The service and food was so amazing that we came back first thing the next morning for brunch. Their cinnamon rolls will change your life! One of the owners, Amber, learned that one of us in our group was vegan while at dinner. When they closed that night, she went to the store and bought extra vegan options (without knowing if we?d be there for brunch or not) so that if we did come back, our friend would have plenty of options in the morning. That is one of the kindest and most thoughtful things I?ve experienced from a complete stranger. I?m so happy we came back! You can feel the love and passion in the food and in the detail of the restaurant. They truly care about making sure everyone feels included. I wish I could be a regular here! You know it HAS to be good if you go to the zoo twice in 24 hours on a beach vacation! I will definitely be back and I will send anyone who is listening in their direction. They WILL be on food network one day. You heard it here first!! ????
