The Tea Terrace - Guildford

This restaurant was incredible. They had a wide variety of teas and cakes, and the atmosphere and decor were beautiful. The view was also amazing. I particularly loved the teapot and cups, they were so stylish! I had a wonderful time by myself. It's such a shame that this place has closed down.

We decided to stop by this charming restaurant for a farewell coffee, as we heard it is closing soon along with the Army Navy. It's a shame to see it go, but we are hopeful that it may return in some capacity. We have heard that Fenwicks will be taking over and opening a new shopping mall.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure. The beautiful pink and white décor, complete with a Fairy Carriage, is stunning. The cakes are wonderfully moist and there is plenty of hot tea available. The views are gorgeous and the staff is very polite.

Horrendous customer service. We had a lady with glasses and an accent who had absolutely no regard for us and spoke to us like we were idiots and an inconvenience, not how to run a business.

Never been here before but seems like the only place in Guildford that does a cooked breakfast, we’ve tried bills before but it was horrible. Really impressed with the breakfast here, it’s huge! You get a lot of food for just under £12. Bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly and both myself and my husband are extremely fussy with food! Will definitely return
