Bidra med feedbackNearly two decades ago, Williams Fresh Cafe was more than just a cafe to me; it was a silent witness to the countless hours I've poured into my studies. During my time in Guelph, this was my sanctuary. With just a dollar or so in hand, I'd get myself a comforting cup of coffee, find a quiet corner, and immerse myself in my books. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee became synonymous with determination and dreams. On days when I felt a little indulgent or needed an extra boost, a cupcake or a small treat would accompany me, a simple pleasure before boarding the bus home. It wasn't just about the affordable coffee or the occasional treat; it was about the warmth, the ambiance, and the memories crafted within those walls. Now, looking back almost 20 years, Williams Fresh Cafe stands as a testament to the power of dreams, hard work, and the small joys that make the journey worthwhile.
The founder of Williams fresh cafe must 've grown up eating canned beans because this place couldn 't grasp the concept of gourmet to save their life. Ordered the bogo mac and cheese to try it. Was little the same flavour as eating a bag of side kick noodles... nearly inedible, over priced food.
Best coffee place in Guelph! The service is always great. Friendly personnel, good food and fair prices.
Huge shout-out and acknowledgement to Williams employee Maddie!I had a horrible experience with another employee during my recent visit but Maddie quickly stepped in and rectified the situation. She put me at ease, made me feel validated and valued, and without her superior customer service skills I honestly would never visit this Williams location again (that first interaction was that bad).I hope Williams recognizes and values Maddie as their most valuable asset!Thank you Maddie, your kindness won’t be forgotten and please know how appreciated you are! The world needs more employees like you!
I highly advise against visiting that establishment for their coffee. The Americano I was served was absolutely dreadful, and to top it off, the waiter who prepared my food and served me was extremely impolite and neglected to wash his hands between cleaning the restaurant and handling my order. The coffee had a surprisingly salty aftertaste that left a bad taste in my mouth. Despite being the only customer there, the waiter acted as if my presence was a burden and impatiently made me repeat my order. I regret spending $10 at this place and will never return. I have had better coffee and customer service at gas stations.
