Western Burgers & Steaks - Guelph

My party and I arrived at the restaurant eager to eat. When you're really hungry, food always seems to taste better. However, we were disappointed by the numerous issues we encountered...

The gravy in the poutine I ordered was watery and brown, which was terrible. We had a large party to celebrate a birthday, and I thought ordering the easiest dish would be a good choice.

During our stay at the hotel connected to this restaurant, we were thoroughly impressed by both. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices.

We had an impromptu dinner downtown at The Western. Wings and ceasar salad, smoked chicken and cheese burger with fries. Good portion. Reasonable pricing.

Chicken, bacon, ham, smoked beef, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella & Smokey spicy mayo. Green salad side with oil/vinegar dressing. Clamato juice.I eat here at least once per week and The Western has the best food of all the Party Town pubs! Clean atmosphere and boy, did I luck out, they aren't playing music today. A nice temperate Simcoe civic holiday with the front garage-style doors wide open. Tv's galore, if sports tallies is what you're into, and the back side is called "The Cowboy" and has an electronic riding bull, if that's what you're into. This is a mouthful of meat! I've been craving more and more as I'm back at the gym and hitting it hard, my appetite is voracious and this sandwich is hitting the spot. I probably wouldn't have been able to finish this 2 weeks ago, and I am finished and full. So good!
