MELTwich food co. - Guelph

First time visits. Restaurant is very open and clean, also like the open kitchen that customers can see how they make the food. Ordered grilled cheese chicken club, and it said on the menu it have Mozzarella, herb and garlic cream cheese, CRISPY CHICKEN, bacon, chipotle aioli, spinach, herbed tomato. When I got my order, it was more like panini and CRISPY CHICKEN got changed to grilled chicken without any notice. I did ask the employees, and the answer I got was "we changed the menu". No any notice on the menu, and no one told me when I place the order. I guess customers supposed to know that!!! Not really crazy about my chicken club, it tasted ok, and too much sauce.... kind of messy to eat.Btw, if you like the heat, you will like their chipotle aioli sauce!

Tried meltwich for the first time and loved it. Server Jade was helpful and friendly recommended the bacon avocado melt and it didn't disappoint. I will be back after being thanked for coming. Great food and sincere friendly service even it only one staff on at the time I was there.

I ordered a philly sandwich for $9.05. The sandwich was good and fresh, but could've used a bit more flavor - couldn't really taste the BBQ sauce. I expected a lot more sandwich for the price. It was a good $5 sandwich. Won't ever buy that again.

Subway Sandwich style service playing modern pop/electro like Lady Gaga.Seemed to take awhile although the place wasn't very busy, but good food shouldn't be fast, right?The sandwich was tasty, but I find the bum to be too sweet and... round? Are they allowed to label it "Philly"?Licenced

I had the Bacon Avocado Grilled Cheese. The flavours were pretty good and it was a decent sandwich... BUT as a grilled cheese and a place called MELTwich... I'd want to see more MELTED cheese and less actual shredded cheese in my sandwich.The service was good and the place is nice. Simple decor. A little cold (temperature) - AC was cranked.I'd return to give it another try but as a first timer I wasn't overwhelmed!
