1881 Steakhouse Burger - Guelph

My wife and I have been going to the 1881 Steakhouse for years. It has been our standard dinner spot before going to the show at the River Run Centre for a long time. Love the atmosphere and food. Big fan of the John Wayne burger.

Great value. Quiet on Monday. Waiter was attentive and not overbearing. Steak was grilled properly.

Very nice atmosphere, good food and service. Would recommend to anyone.

Popped in to play some pinball and eat but the staff were so rude we just walked out. One staff member literally said, “I’m not ignoring you but I’m not working the bar.” When we responded with we’re just looking to get quarters, she responded with “I’m not getting you quarters either.” And then walked outside. No problem, customers lost.

This place is beautiful. The food was very good, service was excellent, and very reasonably priced. I'll be back.
