Marisqueria El Puerto - Guayaquil

El Puerto is only five minutes from the airport by taxi (4 USD). Bring your luggage, the staff will help you keep it out of the way. The beer is freezing. They serve Cerveza Club (a Ecuadorian brand) and it is fantastic. The menu has a wide selection of seafood. I could have tried them all. We ordered the appetizer sampler called Piqueo al Puerto and it was enough for both of us and just delicious. There were several deep fried options, but the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. It included shrimp, calamari, octopus fish finger and fried plantains (tostones). If you have a long overlay at Guayaquil Airport, it is definitely worth driving the five minutes.

Seafood restaurant of pleasant and comfortable place, with simple decoration, has tv screens where they transmit football matches and movies. Depending on the time it may be full or not, before 1pm the attention is faster. The best of the menu is the salad that comes from the traditional and has season with crab flavor, very delicious and original. Undoubtedly all the dishes are highly recommended and have very good presentation. Attention is timely, very friendly staff in the deal. The time of response depends on the order, when ordering encebollado they serve soon but a ceviche or casserole takes about 15 or 20 minutes to wait, suitable because the dishes are prepared at the time of ordering. Ideal to visit with family, friends or colleagues. It has no parking lot but the sector allows to leave the vehicles near the restaurant.
