Bidra med feedbackThis place is simply just amazing, honest and innovative. Chef Davide Odore is so skillfull, he mad us one of the best risottos, we ever had: with pumpkin, 99% chocolate and Barolo. Genius. But especially the dessert was outstanding, so balanced and the chocolate work was simply just class. Thank you for this experience. Thanks for your hard work. Deepest respect. The food was excellent, and the owners are also lovely people. We arrived off season on a Tuesday night, and were the only customers. Nevertheless, the owners were willing to serve us a diverse set of courses, and took great pride and care in their preparation. We enjoyed a fantastic series of tasting menus, including a vegetarian menu. The dishes ranged from very traditional piedmontese to more unique plates based upon seasonal fruits and vegetables. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Note that this is NOT a place to go if you intend to rush through your meal the experience will take at least a couple of hours if you are doing a tasting menu. The desserts are not to be missed both beautifully presented and exquisite. At the end of the meal, we were very content, but discovered we'd gotten a flat tire on the drive to the restaurant. The chef was kind enough to come outside himself to assist as we figured out how to change the rental car tire. What kind people to go this extra step!
Recommended by our hotel..we had an absolutely amazing experience. Although we didn’t speak the language they were so helpful, suggested a fabulous bottle of wine to pair with our food. Each corse was a work of art for the eyes and palate. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so memorable.
This place is a hidden jewel! Very rarely did I feel the passion of the cook so intense through his food. The care given to the creativity of the dishes, their presentation and of course their taste is absolutely notch. Also the sommelier and its wine recommendations were simply excellent. Finally, prices are more than reasonable given the level of the kitchen. Go! Childfriendliness: We have with our one-year-old, the staff delivered a baby chair and was super friendly about it.
Of this lunch I will remember only the more than two hours waiting to see served the dish we had ordered (we inserted at 12:15 and were the first customers). Some attempts were made to disguise the wait with the entré, the small appetizer and the panificates served in the meantime, which ended up being the substitute of the meal instead of an introduction to the lunch itself. At 14:20 the dishes served were below the average of the territory and did not justify the cost and wait. At the replica of the restaurant we answer: we did not ask to eat on the terrace and we did not order what you support, so your answer is completely out of place. We are not gastronomic critics, but we ate in different restaurants, even stellati, and MAI has undergone such a wait. Sometimes it would be better to simply accept a criticism and apologize for the unacceptable delay.
