Bidra med feedbackMy father and I were on business in Guadalajara and this restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was great! My father lived in Italy for 5 years so he's rather picky about his Italian...food but he loved it too! I had Capellini pasta (Angel hair pasta) with the Bolognese sauce and he had Cannelloni with chicken. We also shared the Chicken Parmesan. All of it was really great although the pasta was slightly overdone compared to what you would really have in Italy (I didn't mind though). The Chicken Parmesan was my favorite. We also had apple strudel with vanilla gelato (more of an ice cream than gelato though) which was also outstanding. The only funny thing was the bread. It was more Mexican bread than Italian. I definitely recommend this place and we plan to go back.
Driving by to another restaurant we saw Focaccia Trattoria and decided to try it glad we did The chcken parm was fantastic as is the salad bar our waiter was so attentive and we will return this was a good accident!!!!!
A beautiful day. The temperature was perfect for the restaurant open to the patio. Street sounds were a little loud but then this is the city. Started with a refreshing bottle of white Italian wine. Then salad bar very tasty and lots of selections....For an entree I had Pollo de Limona excellent. Others in the group also were very pleased with their choices. Service was efficient and courteous. Nice crowd. Restaurant was mostly full but a few tables were available. Very casually dressed crowd of adults and families with children good mix. An enjoyable lunch. This was my third visit here and will continue.
Wow were do i start by far the best meal we have had this week this place has it all we went for lunch and were seated right away we sat outside on a patio overhang and enjoyed the crowd busy talking about the days...action in espanol just what we were looking for a real authentic place in guadalajara if your into a fresh salad bar or your into a great california wine or if your into classic italian dishes you can not go wrong here the prices are also very low for such flavorful dishes we had a combo of caprese salad and mushroom/panela pizza to start with we like to try a little bit of everything they were both great i had the pasta del mar with fresh prawns ,octopus, clams in a bed of fettacine with alfredo sause my wife had the raviolis which were also fantastic after 3 bottles of wine we were good to go we had to have desert the tirmisu is the choice be prepared to eat great
We have been for both lunch and dinner many times. Returned last Saturday night, a rainy night in Guadalajara, to find a nearly full restaurant. We had a lovely evening, great service and good food. Generous portions and fair prices here. The included salad bar...has variety and volume. It's not an exciting new addition to the Guadalajara restaurant scene, it's more like the comfortable pair of shoes that one always goes back to. Good valet parking, and parking in the area. Note to foreign diners: In Mexico one has lunch from 2-4 and dinner quite late, 10 isn't unusual to walk into a restaurant on a weekend night. This weekend we dined from 10 until 12:30. Have fun here!
