Bidra med feedbackA great place for a group lunch. Our server was friendly and service was fast. We had a large round table which was perfect for a group. They serve breakfast all day. The veggie omelet is outstanding with potatoes and buttered toast. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Free parking.
Great service and the food is really, really good. We had Stewed tomatoes, mac cheese, lemon yogurt grilled chicken, chicken and dumplings, fried green tomatoes, apple fritters, corn oysters (like fried corn fritters smashed flat) and cornbread. Also had a slice of Mayday Pie (aka Derby Pie). Total bill $39.52 Everything tasted freshly made. The apple fritters are especially good. Definitely at the top of our list for this area.
OMGOODNESS OMGOODNESS I love this place I use to eat here pretty often when I lived in Lexington. Everytime we come to Lexington I make him take me here to eat
A visit to Ramsey's started off with a couple exiting the restaurant. They told us they couldn't get anyone to wait on them...so they left!! We walked in and were seated promptly... but then the wait began. We were wondering if we'd made a mistake by coming in and chancing it!!! Finally our order was taken. Didn't take long for food to be brought out. I had the Traditional Reuben with potato salad. My husband had the Hot Brown. Reuben sandwich was extremely greasy!! Sandwich didn't sit well with me. Hot Brown was piled high in melted cheese. Atmosphere very laid back. Food ok. Prices comparable to other places.
Awesome local spot. The good is always good and the service is equally as good. Had the steak medallions they were cooked perfectly, the side we good.
