Bidra med feedbackAwful customer service. When we first entered, we were confused about who to place our order with as only another customer greeted us while the employee on duty ignored us. When we were finally acknowledged, we ordered chicken fingers with fries for our 5 year old and the adults ordered the smoked chicken with various sides. The chicken fingers were dry and burnt and when we asked for a replacement, the employee was very rude. The smoked chicken was decent however some of the side portions (mac and cheese and coleslaw) was small for the price.
This food was absolutely horrible. There were no customers on a Saturday evening when businesses should be busy. That was our first sign that something was up, but I had prepaid for the food and picked it up. We're from out of town and didn't know any better. We had to wait for at least 10 minutes for them to find our order. We were already late for pickup, so it should have been ready. Just when I was about to ask for a refund, the food came out. This was the worst BBQ ever. Sad generic plain Mac n cheese that was so bad. Chewy chicken, mushy brisket. How do you mess these things up and call yourself a BBQ restaurant? I don't usually leave terrible reviews like this, but I don't want others to have the same experience on vacation that we did. Do better, Hungry Bear BBQ!
Ordered for delivery our first night in Tennessee. Very large order. Food was missing, brisket was torn to pieces and not slabbed. We ordered chicken fingers for the kids and the fryer was down, not to mention they had no chicken products period. I would give them a second chance, for it could’ve been a fluke experience. Next time we are here we will try.
The food was okay but it was all definitely frozen food like a tv dinner and $3 for a cup of water. Never going again
Wow where to start. Looks like the type of bbq joint my family likes. Family of 5 with a teenager, 9yo, 5yo. Hot dog on the menu for kids. $6.50. Just a hot dog (with bun I am told). No drink no side. Ordered foot long smoked sausage meal with 2 sides for $12. Brisket sandwich 2 sides. Pork sandwich 2 sides. Pork special of ribs, pork, and sausage. $17. Prices are all very reasonable outside of kids hot dog. 3 adult drinks 2 kids drinks $73. I'm ok with this especially in Gatlinburg on vaca. On to the food. Brisket over done very little flavor. Has been sitting in lots of liquid. Pork zero seasoning and dry. Sausage plain cheap Ekrich style. Sat steaming for a long time because casing was tough and falling off. Ribs......honestly some of the worst I have had. Untrimmed very fatty fall off the bone crock pot cooked ribs drowned in sauce. Sides. Mac and cheese decent. Fries meh. Cole slaw tasted pre packaged. Brunswick stew was very sweet because of the amount of frozen sweet corn used but no discernable seasoning at all. Sauces were bottled (which is fine, sweet baby rays im looking at you) with a mild and sweet varient. Spicy sauce was just cheap watery hot sauce in a squeeze bottle. Btw not a picky Karen type, just a chef with background in bbq hoping to spread the love of family run joints maybe not known to many. This is unfortunately one that needs to stay unknown.
