Bidra med feedbackThe food was very good. The starter was rich and diverse. That alone would have been enough. The orechiette with tomato sauce was good value for money. The dessert (nut ice cream with chocolate) was huge and very tasty. We found the restaurant by chance while walking. The ambience is comfortable and the furnishings invite you to linger. All in all a nice visit. Only some dishes could be a little cheaper for the area.
Sensational, can't wait to go back! The typical cuisine is unique and we were satisfied from the starter until we left. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the hands of the kitchen are unique. I can't wait to go back and delight in their dishes!
Not a bad tavern. Osteria in the ceramics district of Grottaglie, a little difficult to find because it is not well signposted. The starters are good, try the tagliatelle with almonds, shame about the slightly small portions. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices more or less average area.
Found by chance while we were visiting Grottaglie. Like many, I had relied on the reviews when choosing a place to eat, but unfortunately the one advertised so much by the reviews had no place so we fell back (fortunately and with a pleasant surprise at the 'I naughty ' tavern glimpsed while walking along the narrow streets of the village). Having two kids, an 11 and a half year old girl and a 9 year old boy... not exactly calm, we laughed and said this is the place for us. Anyway, no more chatter, I agree with the opinions of the reviewers who appreciated the desire of these guys to stay in their land and make their traditional dishes known. Cozy place, friendly staff, tasty and quality dishes, honest prices. A piece of advice for those who visit Grottaglie, the ceramics are beautiful and there is a lot of craftsmanship behind them, unfortunately the artisans have shop opening hours, so if you choose to visit I advise you not to arrive too late, almost all of them close at 8.30pm at the latest. So first take a tour of the ceramics and then go and eat at 'I Monelli '.
Hospitality is at home, welcoming and familiar location.... smart guys who instead of emigrating to the North in search of what? they had the courage to stay in our fantastic south and contribute to valorising it...excellent menu at the right price...they bring the Mediterranean to your table...a must come back
