Il Pappafico - GROSSETO

We stayed here in August, we asked for a place for three of which a child who needed the chair and to make us feel comfortable they moved a table! They were quick to pick up the order and then bring the required stuff! Finally the first had fish! We were in other places but we were always disappointed, but this was full of fish! The half portion of the child was like a whole portion! We took an appetizer (cocktail shrimp) on average, then linguine to the really good rock, and a fry, good and crispy! In addition to the waiters, all young boys, were all very nice and helpful! Absolutely to return! The only flaw is that the phone number indicated also in various sites tells me that it is not available, but vague, we will go in person to book!

Finally a place where you can eat fish abound without having to spend too much. Nice place a few meters from the port and the beach. The friendly and helpful staff, has prodigated to let us taste their speciality of spigola and orata; all really great consumed in a pleasant and romantic atmosphere. We'll be back.

One late August night, we came back at 11:00, and this place was the only one who made us eat and then like... Of the gnocchi with the sughetto d'orata, spaghetti with clams and a fried fish more than spectacular! My true compliments for their friendliness and hospitality, not to mention their catering!

A very nice restaurant, a few meters from the sea. We were 2 times, the first in August and, understandably, it was a pretty chaotic evening for the number of people present and for the continuous requests to the bar. The food was great, and above all we finally found a restaurant serving fresh fish and I assure you that it is not recently. Service a little slow, but as I said we noticed that in August, enjoying and reviewing a restaurant on a sea resort is not easy and in fact sketchy found that the gaps in the slowness of the service disappear as soon as the chaos of the top week of the summer ended. We returned in September, and the service was impeccable, excellent the presentation of the paitti and still this sublime choice between fished of the day and food made on the moment. Plentiful portions and good presentation. We'll be back!

The informal environment and the possibility to eat outdoors, with express and home cooking, makes this place the ideal place if you want to spend a quiet evening, near the port and with an acceptable figure, especially if you use menus, three and for all needs. The courses may seem scarce because they use giant dishes, but when you're done eating, you realize they're right. Nothing exceptional, but honest and enjoyable. A famous stonata the prefabricated chicken cotelet for children: absolutely to avoid.
