The Forty Public House - Grimsby

The menu selection has something for everyone. I chose the pulled stack, a sandwich that came in whisky bbq huhn, ruckhuh or maple swarm. I chose the whisky bbq chicken that had a nice little kick. with a caesar salad, with. homemade dressing, the best of all time, it was really one of the best meals I had. simple, but full of great taste. the great service comes from our cheerful and attentive wait person, which is a good opportunity to spend a Saturday dinner.

I usually don't write reviews, but wanted to share my great experience. on this big little place in grimsby. was immediately greeted and sat. served by nicole, which was very pleasant and helpful. had the chicken Guac Club sandwich and the beet salad. the food was out of sight! the sandwich and the salad had to die. some care and thought went into preparation. thanks to the back of the house! I will go back to try other articles and share with others. keep the great work.

I visited this restaurant in July 2019 with a friend and his family for his birthday, and I have to say that the food was incredible. I ordered the wings and fries, both cooked to perfection. My waiter, Jamie (if he still works there), provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend trying the wings at this spacious restaurant. I also had takeout during the quarantine and the food was still great.

Nobody in the line had to wait to be seated. After sitting down, I waited for 10 minutes before finally getting a server. The food was tasty, but the service was terrible. I noticed a man going to every table except ours, and later found out he was the owner. It's important for restaurant staff to improve their people skills, especially during these tough times with so many restaurants closing. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

I absolutely adore The Forty! The staff are fantastic, very friendly. The food is amazing, the wine selection is good, prices are reasonable, and there is plenty of seating available.
