New York Fries - Grimsby

By using freshly cut potatoes and sunflower oil, this particular chain stands out by creating uniquely delicious fries and juicy hot dogs.

This was my first time trying this chain, and because I enjoy hot dogs and fries, I decided to give it a shot. The menu is flashy and the products look appealing, although a bit on the pricey side. The staff at the counter seemed rushed and were not very helpful in explaining some menu items, so I ended up just ordering a hot dog with everything and fries. Unfortunately, the hot dog was one of the worst I have ever tasted, and I have eaten a lot of hot dogs in my 70 years. It was a tasteless, bland, and unappetizing tube of meat that was steamed to the point of being soggy. The fries were also disappointing - thick, limp, and lacking in flavor. They offered poutine as a topping, which may have helped to improve the overall taste. It's hard to mess up a hot dog, but they managed to do just that. I would not recommend stopping at this restaurant.

We stopped by to get some french fries before heading back to the United States.
