La Taverne des Ecuries - Grilly

If they like the landscape, no traffic, horses ponys and space for children to play, then they try here. it is special. in the summer there are long ranch tables that eat out and in the colder days, you have the same inside. from the...inside they have a look at children who take riding lessons. it's just so relaxing. if they are brave enough, they can even go and beat the ponies and horses. eating is very good and was just taken over as a cook that produces some excellent dishes. try it, it is not far from versoix or divonne. prost!

I'm really sorry to write this review, but I felt that I had to, as our experience was terrible. the restaurant is located in a beautiful and quiet opposite where you can see some beautiful horses. there is a very nice sitting area in the free and the inner has a traditional Swiss decoration. the waitress was polite and nice. the dishes mentioned in the menu were not available. the food was really bad, the riders did not see or taste fresh and the meat was disgusting. the court had almost no taste in it and was exactly the same court as all others, only without the meat. there was nothing else or more! unless they change the cook, they won't survive. it's a shame, such a great location and ambiente. so much potential wasted.

Endroit sympa, nous avons testé l'after work du vendredi soir, en terrasse. La carte pour manger est réduite à un plateau de fromage et charcuterie ou frites. Les frites étaient très bonnes.

L'endroit est absolument parfait pour qui veut manger au calme. Le resto est à la fin d'une route en pleine campagne. La serveuse présente était extrêmement sympathique, les prix sont tout à fait corrects, les portions servies aussi. J'ai appris que le cuisinier est aussi le patron. Il ferait vraiment mieux de s'enfermer dans la cuisine et ne pas en sortir. Au passage, il a la bonne idée de faire des frites maison, malheureusement il ne sait pas du tout les faire. Elles sont infects. Probablement blanchies à la mauvaise température et dans de l'huile trop vieilles. Elles sont arrivées mal cuites, molles et spongieuses. Le reste du repas était tout à fait correct. Une belle pierre bien mal taillée...

La nature, des chevaux et de grands batiments en bois. Le cadre est dépaysant. L'acceuil jovial, la terrasse pimpante et la formule du Dimanche (BBQ a volonté) parfaite.Ce fût vraiment un moment tres agréable.
