Bidra med feedbackMost of the photos and information about Ale Asylum posted here can be very misleading (and probably should be removed because they are actually taken from Ale Asylum's now defunct location on Packers Avenue and International Lane. That business closed for good in 2022 but Karben4 Brewing (which just happens to be in Ale Asylum's ORIGINAL business location on Kinsman Blvd. has acquired the Ale Asylum brand and is now brewing some of that company's beers. That said, I have enjoyed Karben4's own beers and I'm very happy that they are making some of my favorite Ale Asylum beers.
Worst IPA I have ever had… like some metal gone sour with citrus. I don’t usually go out of my way to review things, but it couldn’t be avoided… I made the mistake of purchasing a second 6 pack and slowly, painfully made my way through them, thinking maybe I was mistaken the last 3-5 times I cracked open a can or two? Maybe they sat too long? Maybe they were shaken? No. It’s just bad beer.
This place is 100% not closed. The beer was just as great as always (highly recommend the new kaboom) James was super attentive and helpful with tasting, they have such great new taps and the environment was as welcoming as ever
Madison, y'all slept on this place! It's awesome, with fantastic staff and ambiance. Ale Asylum will always mean Madison to me.
Good selection of brews, especially if you favor IPAs and good atmosphere. The Staff at the bar were very friendly too
