Bidra med feedbackHave to give a 5 star for pizza. We had one of the best pizzas in Gresham. Toppings were plentiful and fresh. Crust was perfect, golden, crispy in places. Sauce was tasty with all the right spices and amount on the pizza. I have to admit we went about 4pm so there wasn't a rush. Nice place for food and just to hang out.
Man their basil and tomato pizza was amazing. The bacon cheesy bread was pretty good too. I have been wanting to come here for a while and am glad I did. Will be coming back. They have a typical seating area along with another area where you can play cards against humanity and pool. It is a nice little set up.
The staff was AMAZING! I had never been there before so they explained the process to me. Basically you order at the window and then seat yourself. There is no table service. They were funny and friendly and were able to answer all my questions. The pizza was great. They have pizza by the slice from noon until 3 and then happy hour from 3-6.
It was certainly quite, we were the only ones there most the the time. The staff were friendly and outgoing. I liked the pizza, my husband did not. We had asked for jalapenos, but either they left them off or we couldn't taste/ see them. We didn't ask. Not much beer selection on tap, but I love Breakside and they had that. We enjoyed some pool and the soccer game on one of the screens and all in all it was a nice outing.
(Edit: the pool table in front seems to have helped discourage annoying kids. Cons: Screaming kids up front (Edit , no anchovies, no tooth picks, no whisky flights. Pros: nice bartender and pizza creators, decent music, nice open environment that doesn't feel greasy. Not a bad place actually. It says pizza and whiskey, but that feels more like a limitation than an invitation to a specialty location. The pizza is great, with a nice crust, decent toppings, and we'll balanced sauce. The guys making it do everything they can to make sure you are taken care of. The drinks are strong, but just right if you only plan on 1 or 2, but make sure you ask for water because they won't simply provide it un-prompted. Still, fantastic bartender that I was glad to leave a gratuity for. The fact that families are welcomed is a plus and a minus; it's way more adult friendly than other pizza places on the street, but you still get the house wife who wants to drink and ignore her kids on occasion. But, you can bring your niece or other small relative and not feel like a total kill joy for the joint. Worth trying out, hope it evolves into something more over the next few years.
