Decatur Brew Works - Gresham Park

They have a fantastic selection and the staff is awesome

We went to Decatur to try 3 breweries, this one being our least favorite of the 3. The beer just fell flat, was nothing impressive and 3 out of 4 of the flavor profiles were not what you would expect from a traditional Red, Brown or Märzen. Glad we only did a flight. Bartender also seemed out of place and was not very engaging.

Nice variety of styles and interesting guest taps. Live jazz on Fridays with local Millikin students is fantastic.

The staff is inviting and knowledgeable and there's always a good selection of beer.

Located downtown in an area filled with old buildings filled with history at one time in the 1800's it was a slaughter house it's a great use of refurbishing the area. With 24 beers on tap a great selection of flavors our Bartender takes part in the Brewing of the beer so he was very informative about the flavors.
