Restaurant L'Alsace En Provence

Our second visit to this great small hotel/restaurant! As before we received a five star greeting, and while we waited for our food we were kindly given a tour through the NEW Spa and Bedroom! The rooms looked really great and very neat!... Our food was ready on our return, I had the Angus Bavette, which was served with potatoes with bacon and onion and a fresh salad garnish, all very well. My friends both had the Tartiflette! Welcome, better views highly recommended!

This restaurant is one of the best we thought about, and we tried almost everything on the menu. Only supplements. They do everything in the house and everything is of best quality. One of my family members cannot bear mushrooms. But L'Alsace En Provence's chicken fillet...w/ mushrooms was the first mushroom dish he ever tried. All we tried was of excellent quality. The BBQ ribs, posts, pizza, chicken stable and even deserts.

Eating was really good when you are after a typical “winter” dish like Tartiflette. They have a few variations that are beautiful and different. The restaurant is located at the end of the ski station of Greolieres, behind the parking lot, on a hill, so that the view of... the ski slopes/mountain si also really beautiful. Not sure what was going on with the service over an hour to get our dishes, that's one thing. We didn't care that we were there for skiing, but I would imagine it was annoying if you were trying to get back to the slopes in time. Some people have actually risen and left. But the worst was their attitude, especially the manager / behind the bar. It just didn't care about its customers. A little sad.

Première experience reussie dans ce restaurant qui comme son nom l'indique propose des specialités alsaciennes ce qui sort un peu des chemins battus et de la cuisine provençale pour les inconditionnels - flamekueche excellente - dessert imitant le backhoffe à tomber - et d'autres specialités alsciennes comme l'incontournable choucroute que nous gouterons une autre fois ...
