Bar Le plateau - Grenoble

This is my second time coming back here. This is a great place to come for a cheese plate and glass or bottle of wine, sit under the shade and stare up at the rock wall that is topped with the Bastille. There are several different cheese plates from different regions in France with deli meats to choose from, the menu is presented on a electronic tablet, you choose the cheeses, then select the wine icon and bottles of wine are proposed, you can also select the wine glass icon to see which wines they have by the glass that would go with the cheeses. We had a very enjoyable evening here. One thing that impressed me was the service. We had a friend who joined us who had a young baby in a stroller, the server helped her with the stroller up the few stairs coming out to the terrace, and when she left, he *ran* to help her take the stroller down the steps..you can't get much better than that ! Definitely curteousy is a selling point along with a nice place to have a drink

This is a wonderful place along the river to grab a drink and sit under the shade of the trees unless the current administration in Grenoble decides to cut down these trees too. It's a great location !

We took a beer/wine aperitif with amuses mouths that are rather well sold.The frame is very nice but the welcome was a bit worthy of a pmu and it is very bad because it didn't stick with the place.
