Meloni's Butcher Block - Grenloch

Some of the best customer service around, hands down. I'm not a regular customer, but when I do go I will treat myself to a few extras besides what I needed in the first place. They also came through for me at the very beginning of the pandemic since theyhad beef, chicken and pork stocked when none of the major grocery stores could keep anything on their shelves for more than afew minutes. Yesterday I went there to purchase some comfort food for my neighbors who had just suffered the loss of a familymember. I mistakenly thought there would be large catering trays in the coolers, but at the time, there was not. I checkedwith one of the staff members to see if I should have thought this out better and pre-ordered (I should have as an FYI), but hewas kind enough to see if the folks in the back could put together a large lasagna tray on the spot for me, and they did--noproblem. I appreciated them going above and beyond despite my poor planning. The same staff member made sure I foundeverything else I needed including heating instructions for the foods selected, rang me up and offered assistance with mypurchase to my car, which is the norm there. My neighbors raved about the lasagna, and we enjoyed delicious BBQ pulled porksandwiches at home last night (shout out to Aversa's Bakery down the street for the delicious bread partnership they have withMeloni's), and can't wait to cook the chicken pot-pie we also purchased. Bottom line: delicious, well-made food, quality meat,deli and other grocery products, along with fantastic customer service is what keeps everyone going back to Meloni's. Thank youfor all you do!

Disappointed that the roasted potatoes I order for 1 pm were cold upon pick-up. The prime roast was okay.

I am very impressed with Meloni's Butcher Block! Not only is their food excellent, but their professionalism and great customer service is exemplary.Every September I buy a large tray of Chicken Diandra to take to our family gathering at the shore. Last year, they mistakenly gave me a tray of Chicken Marsala, which was not nearly as good as the Diandra. The chicken was overcooked and grizzly. No one ate it, so I ended up throwing it out. (I would guess this particular dish was a fluke)When I returned from our vacation, I called Meloni's and told them about the mishap. The owner apogized and told me that they would reimburse me or give me another tray at no charge. I explained that I probably would not be ordering another tray until next year and was told that that was not a problem.Fast forward to this year, I ordered another tray of the Diandra and, true ro their word, I was not charged. How great is this that they honored their promise a year later?Meloni's will always be number one in my book. I'll have to make a point to get over there more often!!

Wow. First time coming here after driving past it for years... what a mistake, we only stopped in for the deli (ham, salami, and cheese) but I must say we will most certainly be back for more. Not only was the lunchmeat so fresh and delicious, but everything else in the shop looked fantastic as well and we can not wait to go back to try more. I would definitely recommend you stop on in if you're local or even just passing by. Thank you for being so kind and generous and we will be seeing you again real soon!
