The Gate Clock - Greenwich

This is directly next to the dlr for scatty strong. this is their standard weather pooms pub. the prices and eating were average. very dated on the inside.

My wife and I had lunch here last week and it was perfect. eating was hot and delicious, and the staff was great. there was something busy, but there were additional tables above

Terrible experience. Meal took 45 minutes to arrive then not the full order. Had to ask about the missing meal which finally arrived 15 minutes after the others. Also they forgot our drinks. The condiments table was completely empty. There was no soap in the...dispensers in the toilets and all the hand dryers were broken. Then the final straw was a vegetarian Halloumi wrap that had been ordered was actually chicken. And the chicken was off! It stank. The staff had a couldn 't care less attitude. I urge anybody not to go to this seedy little pub. I guarantee you 'll regret it. Would give no stars if possible but have to give something so one star it is, but it 's not even worth that .

Its a Wetherspoons and you can't go to far wrong getting a breakfast here, good value and tasty food.

This place wants closing down, it's an absolute disgrace to the chain. Where to start, the staff, there weren't enough of them, and the two that were behind the bar were more interested in each other than the customers, and when they did finally serve...you they appeared under-trained. The food, which I wouldn't feed to my dogs, was cold, poorly presented, either over or under cooked. The table we sat at, and as there were 6 of us limited choice, had plates of left food on them the whole time we were there, with no one making any attempt to clear away, the table was sticky from previous customers and there were crumbs and scraps of food on the floor. I could go on, but this place was dreadful, and I won't be returning anytime soon/
