Bidra med feedbackWe went for a week-long lunch with a reservation instead. This is 3 floors with only 2 waitress. Not many people, but many deliveroo drivers coming the waitress were to a certain extent busy with carrying orders. The service was slow, but the food was good. Generous portions. Good and varied menu. The food was well prepared, except it was Yakitori burned. Clearly this restaurant could easily be 5 stars but we need more personal and faster service. A group of 5 office workers and we do not serve wine in time and left before eating. It should have been possible to serve them as not very busy. The prices here are reasonable. Owners should employ more people to make this a very good restaurant. Another more important point is the Loo ladies. Pretty bad and not clean. This shouldn't happen.
My family and I went for an early dinner at this restaurant with a total of 6 people. The food, as always, was excellent. Unfortunately, the service was lacking as the staff appeared distracted and too focused on chatting amongst themselves rather than serving the customers.
While London has its share of glamour and fine sushi restaurants, which to a large extent truly lack of very high quality and every day affordable experiences to eat as the majority of Japan testifies. Aji Ichiban is the perfect antidote for this sorry situation with a passion for the quality of sushi equaled by the warmth of service. We have eaten here more than a dozen times and went to the restaurant for groups and intimate dining experiences alike. We are all deeply displeased to discover that this restaurant jewel has been expelled from its facilities and look forward to the announcement of its new address. When they open, visit. This is truly excellent authentic and affordable sushi to die served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I used to frequent Aji Ichiban until it closed due to some management issues. My friends and I would visit at least once a week for delicious and high-quality sushi. We were thrilled when they reopened as Kitcho Express. In the meantime, I tried other sushi places like Canes and Zaibatsu, but nothing was quite as good as Aji Ichiban. When we finally went back and ordered a selection of sushi and Katsu curry, it was just as delicious as we remembered. I'm glad they were able to bounce back from their previous troubles. Right now they only offer takeout meals, but I've heard they will be opening a restaurant in the area soon. Let's show our support for their amazing sushi, great value, and family-owned business. Local support is key, especially given their recent hardships. (PS: The avocado maki and spicy tuna rolls are to die for!)
This hotel is a gem of Greenwich. It is settled in the heart of the city center, with views of Jamie Italian. If you have the option of both Aji Ichiban Jamie or, then choose Aji Ichiban. You won't be disappointed.
