This is the best gluten free bakery !! I first found this company in the city, and I used to make a special trip every so often to the city to get fresh quality gluten free treats! I was so delighted to discover their Greenwich location was just as wonderful. I love coming into their store and finding new fresh items bakes daily. They have their staples such as their chocolate chip cookies which are the best ones I have ever had ! Along with their brownies. I still can’t believe this is all gluten free. I used to have to resort to the frozen section at Whole Foods for gluten free deserts , but not anymore. They also have a great menu to order custom cakes for holidays, events and any other custom bakery needs you might have. But don’t expect to sit and have a cup of coffee and enjoy your gluten free dessert , there is no room for that. It’s just a grab and go place. They do offer a very simple selection of regular coffee. And surprisingly they have a cute little section of cards, candles and matches. A little random but it gives the place a cute touch.

I love By the Way Bakery! Their dairy free products is probably one of the best I have ever had. Having dairy allergy, it’s such a relief that I can count on them. The Manager Michael and all the attendees are always so helpful!

Very nice bakery. Not a lot of fancy items but they are expert in what they offer. I took their sour cherry cake, my gf took the chocolate cake and an almond flavoured cookie. I did not like the cookie. But, the sour cherry and the chocolate cake was delicious to say the least. It's not a cheap place though. Cost is high but overall worth a visit and has nice friendly staff.

Since moving back to Stamford, CT a couple years ago my Wife and I have been big fans of By The Way Bakery, since she is Gluten-Free and my family is Kosher. I hired them to make custom brownies for both my proposal in 2020 and a surprise party for my then-fiancé after she finished her conversion. Additionally, we worked with the CEO, Helene Godin, on our Wedding Cake. We modeled the cake after the restaurant in Atlanta, GA where we both worked and met for the first time. Not only was it delicious but it looked great too. We could not recommend BTW Bakery more.
