Palmetto Alehouse - Greenville

Staff is great. Food was good. But we asked about NFL games especially during the playoff weekend and was told they don't play NFL games.

I give this place two stars only because our waitress was super nice and the salad was great... BUT it took almost 20 minutes for someone to take our order and our shrimp and grits were terrible. The grits were almost uncooked in water and the shrimp and gravy had zero flavor whatsoever. We most likely will not be coming back.

We went in and the host played with his phone. We were standing in front of a waitress and sitting. I really expected a bad experience based on the inattentive host, but I was surprised. The food was great and the waitress was great. The beer selection was great. I tried a few different and liked them all.

We sat quickly on arrival, but our server never showed up so that we ended getting another server and even though we had to wait a little, it was absolutely wonderful! The server waiting for us was Ashley. The food was absolutely phenomenal! My friend got the Smokehouse Burger and he said it was one of the best burgers he ever had. He's a cook himself so it's hard to please Lol. I ordered the Chicken Tenders with Alfredo Pasta as my side and the chicken was definitely the best chicken I ever had. The pasta was boiled properly and I usually have to order more Alfredo sauce anywhere else I'm going because it's so dry, but not here!! We recommend this place very much!

DONT ORDER THE RIBS: Marketing starts Jean Paul ribs got my mouth water... I should have made a picture of this meatless toothpick, but for the same price just grab some racks at Costco and save the anger and frustration I have just experienced. Great service from Tamara she is funny and has done a great job. No complaints about salmon salad, even if you need to take it to go
