Bidra med feedbackTried GB&D for lunch. Had a brisket burrito, the Greenville hot chicken sandwich, and black truffle fries. Everything was delicious and fairly priced. Definitely a good spot to grab lunch. Pleasantly surprised.
We love this food. However, a few times myself or my family has gone there , they were closed. Example today, I went there at 4:30pm EST, 3.5 hours before closing and they're closed. I talked to a lady, she said its new hours for about a month. Their website, the Commons website, Instagram and Google all say 8pm . This isn't the first time either. I went there about 645 on a Wednesday 2 months ago and they were closed. I asked an employee there, she said they felt like it. This place has some great food but serious crappy management. Edit. Went back today 8/17/2024 at 3:45pm EST. The place is closed . All the employees were sitting at the bar and the dining area is empty. Sign on the service desk says closed from 3 to 5. I guess I'm done bothering with these people. They don't deserve visitors. Will be making a formal complaint with the Commons.
My friends and I went to eat here and Avery was so nice! He really made the experience joyful. Were really looking forward to coming back and hopefully being helped by Avery.
We had high hopes for this place, but were disappointed. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a basket of bacon blue fries, one ice tea and a water $28 for a shared meal, which would have been fine if everything had been good. We waited over 20 minutes for our food. The sandwich was so so and the fries tasted like they had been sitting in grease for quite a while, though they were piping hot. The person who was trying to bring our food to the table could not find us, even though we were seated at the few tables actually inside the restaurant. The interior smelled badly of overused cooking oil. I doubt we will try this one again.
Kids cheeseburger and fries is $10 and the burger is about a 1.5” wide. My kid literally laughed at the dwarf portion. She said “Daddy, where is the other one?”
