The Olde Spitfire Grille - Greensburg

I would say this is an under appreciated gem of a restaurant in South Greensburg. The atmosphere is great, decorated with old photos of Greensburg and the surrounding communities. The bar setting is very upscale looking and friendly with local breweries featured, including All Saints and Four Seasons (try the coffee porter). The featured entree is typically a fish dish and a steak. Very basic but classic. The apps are tasty and great for sharing. The wood fired pizzas look good and I'll definitely be back to try them. The sandwich section of the menu is bountiful and will excite your taste buds. I recommend the Stacked Chicken Sandwich. I just wish the entree menu had more options, maybe 1-2 more pasta dishes, Thai influenced dishes, more spice less fatty sauces type of food. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. We were there on a Saturday night and it seemed slow. The side patio looked very inviting for some warmer weather dining. Another feature that will definitely cause me to return.

Spitfire offers Gbg. a 'hip ' space. Just spent the evening on the patio with family. The outdoor pizza oven seemed really popular. I sat indoors last time I was here and it 's a cool space too. Great food and a unique menu.

My husband and I ate here for a date night. Everything was absolutely fantastic, the staff was friendly and playful, the food was absolutely perfect and was prepared quickly. Even on a busy night we felt well taken care of.

Foods great. Was not impressed that we had to sit out in a tent on a Saturday because aomeone rented the whole inside for a party. But waitress was funny and nice

The service and food are fantastic! The management team is very well organized and they have a great environment and setting! We will be back for sure. Highly recommend!
