Fishbones - Greensboro

We have family in Greensboro and make it a point to have at least one meal here whenever we visit. They were wonderful in accommodating us for our son fiancées rehearsal luncheon a few years ago.

My visit was great! I really enjoyed the unique dishes I had tried. The server knew a lot about the food. A good selection of beer. Wonderful food! I will go back!

After having lived in Northern Virginia for a couple of years, a restaurant like Fishbones is a revelation. First off, the value there is amazing. Fresh ahi tuna tacos and good draught beer for a song can't beat that. The atmosphere is casual, but eclectic and trendy enough to make it stand out from the usual blah bar scene. I would describe Fishbones' decor as upscale enough to for a nice evening out, but overall the clientele isn't dressed to the hilt to make the casual diner feel a fish out of water. Pun intended! No pretentious feel, good and innovative food- I'm hooked. Ha! Sorry.
