First Carolina Delicatessen

The food at this restaurant was delicious. The cookies were good, the sandwiches were really good, the service was good, and even the bathroom smelled good. I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area.

This restaurant has been a favorite of my family for years. I first discovered it a long time ago and realized it was very similar to the Lox Stock and Bagel on Battleground. My youngest daughter loves the cheese sub, and I don't mind getting her a large one because she can never finish it, so I get to enjoy some too. My sister-in-law used to be a manager here, but that wouldn't have stopped me from being a customer. I highly recommend this place if you're craving a sandwich, as they have many great options. I particularly recommend trying the Rachel or Reuben, both of which are delicious and similar, with the only difference being the type of meat - beef pastrami or corned beef. If I remember correctly, both are fantastic choices.

Last minute find on a road trip, and so glad we found it. Local favorite, the pastrami and Rueben are both incredible. I wasn?t even hungry and wolfed down the entire toasted deliciousness. Extremely efficient operation with very nice staff. Great seatingarea too. Also love their German potato pot, both hot and cold.

The cutest place with the best sandwiches ever. Set back from the road, right next to Sheetz on Spring Garden. Nicest ppl too! Had the Reuben Italian Sailor. Perfectly done bread toasted evenly a perfect golden color; just enough of everything. Apickle chips wonderful meal. My daughter?s first words after her first bite was Hoky Moly!
