What an awesome place! My wife and I had a first time lunch here on Thursday June 8th. Being summer, there were minimal customers and 1/2 the food stations weren’t open. But what was open was great!! We paid our $9 each and looked around at what was available. Choices were plentiful and tasty. We had a made to order burger, seasoned fries, sweet potato tots (these were the BEST) salad, rice cereal treats, fried vegetables and more. All you can eat or drink. You need gluten free, there’s choices. You need vegan, there’s choices. You can’t beat it for $9. I’m sure when classes are in session, it’s probably packed but there were maybe 20 total people there during our meal. Awesome. The dining hall was huge, bright and clean. The employees were friendly and answered all questions pleasantly. I can’t say how much we enjoyed the visit.Other reviews say that during class sessions to avoid a visit at 11:30am and I can believe it.When classes are in session and if you’re not a student, you’re advised to contact the campus police and give them your license plate number so they know that you are supposed to be there. I can see their reasoning for the policy. Their website has a map showing where visitors can park and it’s advised to follow the recommendationsSo if you’re in Greencastle and looking for a good, filling, value priced buffet, this is the place to go to.We can’t wait to go back when classes are in session and all the food stations are open.Ken KorenRockville, IN
Came here for lunch for the 1st time around 11 am. Wasn't very busy, great selection of food. The quality of the food was great. There is plenty of seating. Very beautiful place. Price was under 10.00 for all you could eat. I think this is a hidden gem in Greencastle. By 1130am, the place was busy with students. Vegetarian options: Serviced tofu, salad bar, cheese pizza, vegitarian chili. I could go on and on. Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor.
Food is great. One of my favorite places to go locally. Never had an issue with any of the students and staff here are great!! I always get a new idea to try at home with the family. And also FYI the cafeteria reduces hours during the summer. Vegetarian options: They have veg and vegan options from what I see. Kid-friendliness: It's a college dining hall it's noisy. I've brought my kids a few times but they are older. They may not have highchairs but I haven't ever asked so I'm not sure. Wheelchair accessibility: The building is accessible door ways are wide too.
