La Mesa St Joseph Mo - Green Meadows

The food is consistently good in our experience. They have a kids menu for the picky eaters and the fries are the good kind. And even when you think your server is too busy stopping at all the tables to remember what you just asked them for, they get it right anyway. I love their taquitos, that's my go-to, with some extra shredded cheese (the good kind) on the side. The whole family loves this place!

Used to come here about once a month before the pandemic but food has definitely declined in quality since. Visited twice in the summer of 22 and had the same problem: the ground beef was very bland and was scorched. On the second visit, I informed the waitress that the beef tasted burned. She quickly took my plate back and asked the cook to make another tostada (ok good). Amazingly, she returned with a new plate and the ground beef was burned and scorched JUST LIKE the

Great service but was very disappointed in the serving size. The chicken enchilada I ordered for lunch was barely bigger than my index finger with maybe two bites of chicken. I understand costs are rising and times are tight but charging more for less just isn?t right and this customer won?t be back.

First time at Le Mesa, Food and service outstanding. I had the beef enchiladas.excellent so much food I couldn't only eat two enchiladas. Fabulous fine dining. Service outstanding..

This place has been our go-to restaurant for Mexican food for a few years. Love the atmosphere and the the food is as good as Mexican food gets in Nebraska. Lately however, the smell in the the bathrooms is revolting. We're going to pause our La Mesa outings for a while to give them a chance to fix the problem. Hope to come back someday.
