La Guanaca - Green Meadows

We stopped in at almost closing time for some takeout. They were so nice. I ordered a chicken tamale Mexican style and chicken fajitas. The food was very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Next time I want to try papusas, El Salvadoran tamales, and the oxtail dish. We made a short-notice catering order for a NYE party after eating here a couple times and Amanda was amazing to work with. The pupusas and tacos were the star of the party, the amount of food was very generous, and Amanda and Mike had our order hot and ready on time on NYE including all toppings and salsas individually packaged. I am very grateful and can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

My Salvadoran mother in law has been in El Salvador the last couple of months and we have missed her pupusas. This place definitely hit the spot. We did a Togo order and I could tell the food was fresh and piping hot. We got Curtido(coleslaw), and salsa which paired perfectly with the pupusas. The great thing about pupusas is that they are good being reheated and eaten as leftovers. I got them around noon, reheated them and ate them for dinner and they were still fresh and flavorful. I would definitely order again from this place.

Amazing food!! I love the variety they offer at such a reasonable price! Has become one of my neighborhood favorites!

Fantastic Gluten Free Pupusas! Try the chicharrones and cheese! Will try the GF tacos next.
