Bidra med feedbackThree stars, since the food is good, cleanliness is not stellar. They are often underused with Waitstaff who often do many jobs while they try to wait table. I praise them for it. Another point of lack of maintenance. The garbage container out there is often overflowing. A safety concern is that the railings were removed at the front (due to corrosion), but they were not replaced. A wheelchair and persons with balance/coordination could stand out from the concrete path/camp. I'll add photos to the next visit.
We had a horrible experience. Our waiter had no idea of what he was doing, but found time to sit around and do nothing. Our food came out of the kitchen lukewarm after waiting forever. There were only 3 of us, but we were served separately, several minutes apart. My mom didn't get toppings for her french toast that she asked for, and we were never offered refills. The manager tried to make our experience better, and I appreciate her efforts. However, we won't be going back to this location again.
The French toast came out raw, and was cold, mushy bread. Sent it back asking for them to remake the dish, and they put the same food on the grill and hid the one I had cut under the stack. The syrup bottle had a long piece of hair stuck in the spout as well, and the butter type blob didn 't even melt. Not sure what it was. Eggs were ice cold by the time they re-grilled the mushy bread. Not impressed. The server never asked how the food was, as well as the manager never asked how everything was even though he checked us out.
My experience at this restaurant was the worst I have ever had. Despite being understaffed and causing long wait times for our food, when it arrived, it was ice cold. The server neglected to refill our drinks and when the manager inquired about our meal, we informed her of the issue. My food was so cold that I had to request a take-home container, as I couldn't even eat it. Although they offered to reheat it, I declined as it had already taken nearly 45 minutes to receive our order. In attempt to make up for our terrible experience, they offered us a free dessert. I strongly advise against dining there as you will surely regret it. It is worth noting that this occurred on a Thursday evening when the restaurant was not busy.
On Monday, September 26th, 2022, I dined with a friend at Perkins. It was late, just before midnight, when the restaurant was about to close. We were both warmly greeted and seated promptly. We ordered a full dinner with dessert. Our waitress, Tomica, provided exceptional service. She was friendly, professional, efficient, and overall excellent. Tomica impressed me with her great qualities and pleasant attitude. Our food was prepared quickly and exactly as we had ordered. Everything was delicious. I had a cheeseburger plate with onion rings, a berry cake, and a coke. My friend also enjoyed her meal. Thank you to boss Tony! We were ready to leave by 12:30 and didn't feel rushed or dissatisfied as customers. The hostess, Fall, helped us settle the bill and even gave me directions to get back to the highway for my drive back home to Sheboygan. Overall, everyone at Perkins was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I would gladly return to this Perkins restaurant. Thank you to the night team for all your hard work, it was greatly appreciated.
