The Public's Corner - Greater Dandenong

I went to this restaurant for breakfast and chose to sit outside. It can get busy and only had two waitresses working. They forgot to bring us cutlery. The food was nothing special, but it wasn't bad either. I would go back again.

I had never explored this part of town since it was redeveloped a few years ago, but based on a friend's recommendation, we decided to have a pre-theatre dinner here. I was impressed by the sophistication of the venue and the quality of the food and service. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Great service and the steak was very good. Could have done with a few more veges/salad but that is being picky. Dessert was worth doing. Friendly staff with a service attitude.

This cafe wasn't open on Good Friday so we couldn't go, but we were there some time ago. It was terrific for breakfast, great variety on the menu, coffee was lovely.

On Friday 17th of March, my husband and i had a lunch at the restaurant. He had burger and i ordered prawn pasta. Halfway through my pasta i found hair tangled in pasta. Called waitress to show the hair and she took away pasta without apologizing and second waitress came and asked if i wanted another pasta and i said no. Again there was no apology. When my husband went to pay the bill, second waitress wanted us to pay for the pasta. We were shocked and were told i had half pasta. Of course my husband refused to pay and the waitress- he thinks is the manager said 'Whatever'. We are very shocked with how it was handled. I have been to many restaurants but never ever have come across such behavior. Not only the food was bad but the behavior of the staffs were even worse. We are not from the area. We were there for the doctor's appointment. But if we are ever in Dandenong again, never will go back to this restaurant and i strongly suggest to give this place a miss. Disgusting!!
