This is one of the best Wetherspoons in the country Great staff good food and of course great drinks I have never had a bad pint) Dan runs a great pub and all the staff are friendly and on top of their game So many great staff members I don't want to single anyone out except Sharon Great team good place and always welcome The best Oh and congratulations Sir Tim You deserve a knighthood for all the beautiful buildings you have saved Every one have a fantastic New Year Xxxx

Not many tables available those that were hadn’t been cleared. Ordered food and drink via the app at table. Food came quick enough, but was a bit dry. Not enough cutlery or napkins delivered for our meals. No check back to see if we were happy with our food. Nobody came to collect our plates so had to place them on a table that had been empty for half an hour without being cleared. Disappointing first visit, won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend to others.

Forget the Christmas lunch! Great venue, great decor, great atmosphere.. but, avoid the Christmas dinner! Three of us had the Xmas meal...two of the meals looked fine and we're, fine apparently (plate covered in gravy), but mine was awful. Arrived with just one piece of turkey...this one piece of turkey had literally a dollop of gravy sitting on the top. This left the lumpy dry mash, the peas with no gravy, and none to borrow from the turkey. Oh, there were two inch long parsnips on the plate. All could have been fine but I asked if I could possibly have some gravy. The waitress had to go and check...she came back with the reply...No, because that was the gravy that had come out of the packet!! I'm under no illusions that Wetherspoons meals are nothing other than microwaved, but it looked as if I'd been served HALF of a packet. Surely you could have come up with a bit of gravy, or indeed opened another PACKET! The bar was full, and I was part of a large group. Profit margins can't be that tight!

Lovely Spoons this is ! Iam a big fan of wetherspoons .Food cooked or heated up exceptionally well in this place,Friendly staff too. Will return x

Always busy, morning or evening. Staff are friendly and lots of seating. Prices are good and the facilities are clean too.
