I?ve ordered the same coffee twice. The first time it was amazing, the second time very bitter and looked weird. I?m going to give it one more chance and let that be my deciding factor.
We came when this place first opened twice within the first couple weeks. It was fantastic. They had a lady in the back that was teaching the other younger employees on how to make the pizzas. We thought we found our new pizza place and being from NY,that?s a big deal. Fast forward to now, we have been twice in the past two months and both times were less than average. Thedough was soggy, toppings were missing, the cheese was separating instantly from the pizza itself. It was not good and will mostlikely not come again. Saddening really.
Visited this place the night of a 4th of July festival at Generation Park.Despite being oh so busy as 1 of only 3 food vendors on site Lupo Pizzeria managed to serve everyone with a smile. Our pizza came out in a timely manner and was absolutely delish.Love the old school pepperoni.
The location is in a nice up and coming area. The store was very clean and looked nice. The problem is the pizza. This was probably the greasiest pizza I have ever eaten, it was to the point where the pizza turned to mush after letting it sit from themoment it got to our table until I finished my first slice of pizza it turned that way on top of that as soon as you lift thepizza up all of the toppings slide off. The toppings they used were actually very very good just the overall pizza wasn?t it.The crust tasted like it was thrown in an electric oven as you would get while you are at home. I watched the guy in the backwho was making our pizza from the moment I ordered until we got our pizza and not one time did he ever put anything in it. Allthere was was a huge stack of wood inside taking up all of the space, then 25 minutes later of them still not touching thefirebrick oven I see the guy bending over and pulling pizza out of what looked like a electric oven nowhere near the fire oven,so basically the fire oven is just there for looks and you can tell the difference between a real wood fired pizza and anelectric especially since I eat so many pizzas at so many restaurants.
