What a mixed bag is here! the beautiful atmosphere, quiet, charming. good (but expensive) choice of wine through the glass. the not so good salt! much salt in everything. the mushroom appetizer would have been fabulous because the plate had wonderful mushrooms of all kinds. but the natrium killed the court. the guinea henne was absolutely delicious, but the part was pathetic at any price, let alone $42. the golf shrimps and polnta were not golf shrimps, as I have ever had, the garnels themselves very small and nothing special, the polnta sees and tasted like quinoa. When I questioned that, I was told that it was a special mais. do not see the point at all, the corn was tasteless, the texture unpleasant. what about standardpolnta? this was not an improvement of the tried and true. it seems that with a little more attention and work this could be a great restaurant. but I will wait for them to bring theirs together. they can make a lot better elsewhere.

Field and cellar is an undetected gem! chef masseys creations rival any restaurant in the berkshires. we had the duck wings, foraged mushrooms and egg, venison loin and nison short ribs. all are highly recommended. the cocktail menu was kreatiw. my rose bush manhattan was delish. the service was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. there was also a jazz ward. my only criticism that is low is that the dining room could be considered to the quality of eating and service.
Delicious, creative food and great service. Wish we were from the area so we can go there again.
