Bizalion ' 's Fine Food

Pretty limited and rigid menu/staff. I would have liked to get a simple sandwich without meat or cheese. ...Interesting the owner has the time to respond to this review but not respond kindly to a customer. Ironically the passive aggressive lastsentence of the response by the owner illustrates who may be lacking in the communication dept. My wife and I both communicated to the staff clearly and kindly...the responses were as I said rigid, she said they were plain rude. All for thebest, as we ended up The Great Barrington Bagel Company. -Friendly, smiling, swift customer service, and deliciousfood. Makes sense why they had the line of people out the door!

Had the best pecan pee ever, this afternoon. The data added an additional dimension to a perfect cake. Not too sweet as any other pecan pie.

Mark Bittman the NY Times obviously had never had the #6 baguette at Bizalion 's before he wrote his article about the best ham sandwich he had ever eaten, which turned out to be in Barcelona. Yeah, that's a great sandwich, Mark. I ate it a few weeks ago. But now try one in this great food in Great Barrington and another great, much closer to home than Spain! You don't have to go that far, and the sandwich gets better! RS

We love this place. The food is great, delicious lunch sandwiches and soups and great coffee. Nice seating area. Good range of cheeses, mustards and other nice foods for sale as well.
