Bidra med feedbackWorst service and too expensive. We actually had to get up to get a server to take our order after waiting half an hour for someone to come to the table. Asked in advance for gluten free bread but as she had already „ordered normal...„ and asked „ist das schlimm ?“ got the normal bread meanwhile it just comes in a bag so there should be no problem just putting another type in. Additionally the prices have soared here. Should be able to put on a few more severs.
Flavoursome and satisfying brunch; high effort towards accommodating dietary requirements. Booking advisable especially on weekends . I’ve heard about the delicious breakfast at Kunsthauscafe Graz many times and it’s living up its good reputation. I had the “Del Prado” from the “Stadtbekannt” “well known in...the city” -section as a gluten free option which includes three slices of gluten free, toasted sourdough bread instead of the regular breadbasket which is a white bread roll, a slice of wholemeal brown bread and a croissant . The hummus was creamy and rich in flavour, the side of avocado, baby spinach and agave reduction well balanced in flavour spice and plentiful. The bread was toasted very crisp and gave the meal an addition in texture as well. However, it was toasted with quite a lot of olive oil, so it also became quite grease – in combination with the hummus and the additional vegan butter it was, to my taste, too much and the dish could easily do without the oil on the toast or the butter on the side. The lassi was refreshing and very filling as well – all in all, portion sizes are very generous. Unfortunately, I have to say, that the day I came for breakfast me and my friend had to wait about 40mins for our food to arrive. In combination with the almost greasy bread I deduct 1 star. Service staff was very professional; I had quite a lot of questions regarding food intolerances accommodating dietary requirements and the waiter was patient, knowledgeable and very understanding. Upon request wherever possible, swaps can be made to accommodate dietary requirements at least regarding the “stadtbekannt” section; I did not ask about other options from their breakfast menu . In general, their breakfast range includes some “classics” such as scrambled eggs, granolas mueslis as well as the set brekkie options “Stadtbekannt” with sweet and savoury choices. Specialties include a breakfast burger or quesadilla; some options are vegan as well. Breakfast is served until 4pm and the range of options suit a variety of preferences which makes the Kunsthauscafe a nice spot to come in larger groups for a tasteful brunch notabene: it is a very popular place and quite busy at times, so probably not the place to go to if one wanted to have a private and quiet conversations . Altogether, the meal was satisfying and tasty, appealingly looking and prepared using fresh ingredients. Portion size is very generous, and the meal is absolutely good value for money and worth every penny and in my case the wait .
Very nice place to breakfast, lunch, tea, coffee cake and dinner and everything else in between. try their cakes we did, because we couldn't get a place to lunch and had to come back later. something we've fixed the earliest. they have burger and. also vegan daily specialties that are also very beautiful. and the location is perfect to add only one coffee and watch the world (and people) by.
We drove through graz, and we stopped here for lunch. it was one of the high points of our journey. although we did not make a reservation, we got a table, but the place was really full. so reservation is recommended. we both ordered eier benedikt. they were the best we ever had. the plates looked really good, and the aromen were fantastic. the service was nice and fast. I would definitely visit this place again if I went to graz.
I really enjoy coming to art house cafe every time I visit graz. they have a great choice for breakfast/bunch and good coffee. it is also a perfect place for some drinks and burgers with friends!
