Great coffee. Great pastries. Deli can get a little slow but that is pretty much standard in Grass Valley it seems... Staff is always friendly and there are some delicious premade food options in the cold case. Ample parking is shared with the nearby bowling alley. A spot can usually be had pretty close to Summer Thymes. Sticky buns are amazing!

It?s a walkup and order, then find a table restaurant... usually I prefer table service but they have it down. Nice staff and outstanding food. On the weekends (maybe just sunday? they have great music in the dining room. A must-go

My husband and I have visited this place on several occasions but our recent experience was less than satisfactory. We ordered chicken enchiladas and the food was served barely warm. The chicken inside was cold. We asked the service provider to warm them up in the microwave which he did but his attitude and his facial expressions were unfriendly and rude as if we were bothering him with our request. In addition, I got sick several hours after eating at this place with the symptoms indicating that I consumed something with wheat my dish was supposed to be wheat free . This is unfortunate, as some people have food sensitivities and it is critical not to consume certain foods. I relied on the representation that my dish would be wheat-free and specifically confirmed it when ordering.

Love it here but... be ready for a wait if you order from the restaurant side. Some days are better than others and the food is good enough to not loose a star over it. Great coffee, friendly staff, AMAZING sticky buns : Who don't want that!? Lots of parking makes it easy to get in and out most days. Tons of vegan and vegetarian options in addition to local fairs on a mostly organic menu!!
