Great service. Great value. Great product. We had cod, a cheeseburger an two regular fries with salt and vinegar. It all tasted great, was prepared fresh and hot. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly. Recommended 100%.

Dreadful! I’d read reviews first, they mentioned friendly staff, crispy batter and that the small portion of chips was ‘not so small’ so that’s what I ordered. No sign of there being a small fish on the menu, so I expected a nice crisp fish with a fairly decent portion of chips for my £9.60. So, my experience was that staff were ok, the fish was tiny (much smaller than any fish I’ve been served before anywhere). It was also overcooked, dry as a bone and with no hint of crispness to the batter whatsoever. Chips were ok, but again not a hint of anything crispy, and the portion was indeed a small portion. The peas were ok, but the fact that at least 2 people who went in and ordered after me got their orders before me also did not go down very well! I was just about to ask if they had forgotten my order when it was called. I will not be going back.

The fish was fantastic, but the fries were disappointing. They were quite soggy and seemed like they had been sitting out for hours, even with a bustling crowd in the restaurant. Additionally, there were no sauces provided with the dish unless you specifically ordered the ones from the tube.

I enjoyed a fantastic piece of halibut tonight, which is not something you typically find in fish and chip shops. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I’ve also tried the scampi and haddock chips in the past, and they were both delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Although there can be a wait during busy times, if you're looking for freshly prepared food made to order, a short wait is to be expected. In my opinion, it’s absolutely worth it! We will definitely return to try more from their extensive menu.

The staff were fantastic—super helpful and always a great stop to make while on holiday. The food was fresh, with crispy batter on the fish, and the chips were cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend it!
