Smitty's Restaurants - Grande Prairie

Restaurant had 4 tables, we waited 40 minutes when I asked about our food hey said it was just getting started they got slammed is what our waitress said, I laughed 4 tables is slammed forget it we left hungry and irritated, this would explain why it was dead on a Saturday night.

Love Smitty's Santa Fe salad with chicken. Big portions and I ask for the chicken to be sauced and they are always willing to comply. Same thing this time except there was no dressing on the salad - just some sour cream and salsa. The poor waitress was by herself so didn't want to bother her when she was so busy. It's the little things that can make the difference in the food.

Traditional family diner, nothing new. My vegetable was served late on my roast beef dinner. Loved the wings with a good price on it. I just noticed no paper towel in the washroom, only hand dryer. Need to tidy up the area. Service was good.

Although the food was excellent we found the portions to be rather large. The service was excellent. thanks

Server was friendly. Someone else brought out the food for my husband and son and server did not return to top up drink or check on us after the order was placed. Once they finished eating I had to grab the attention of a different server walking by to cancel my order. We went to the till to request the bill so we could leave. Our server came to check us out and was very appologetic. She though I sent my order back or something and did not know I did not receive it. She discounted my sons meal off of the bill which was nice but if she checked on us after their food came out it the error on mine could have been easily rectified.
