Skylark Lounge - Grande Prairie

The entire staff was great, the classic cocktails were expertly made, and there was a good amount of care put into the drinks.

What a disappointment. We stayed at the Pomeroy in which this lounge is located and they have no beer on tap. Bottles only. What’s with that??

I've stayed in the Pomeroy several times over the years, and the Skylark has always been a favourite place to relax. I've had the food several times, and everything has always been wonderful. I enjoy the atmosphere of the place, the décor is modern and...comfortable at the same time, and the feeling is very homey. Service has always been great, and a special mention to Elise for making my friends and myself always feel welcome. I'll be back!

We had just come to the hotel restaurant (The Office) for the 2 for 1 Prime Rib night. When we got there we we 're informed there was a wait but we could order the same special at their lounge. We sat ourselves and our server...(who was also the bartender) was quite rude explaining the special to us as we had never been there before. She brought our drinks and the food came out pretty quickly. She came once to check that our food came out ok but never came to refill drinks and left us there for 40 minutes AFTER we we 're done eating. We had to ask another server to bring our bill but they didn 't. Finally our server came to ask if we we 're done and I expressed my disappointment about being ignored all night but she couldn 't care less. I don 't know if the whole establishment is understaffed or if she treated us poorly because I was the only person of colour but it is safe to say we are definitely not coming back! The food and portions we 're decent but not enough for us to try again or even recommend to anybody else.

Ive been staying at the hotel for work the staff here has been extremely courteous professional. The environment is safe, fun the laughs are always endless. Also the food and drinks are never a let down. Special shout out to Elise for...going above and beyond as a server! The lounge is lucky to have you :
