Bidra med feedbackOut of 3 items ordered, only 1 was delivered, and was completely wrong. Imagine a chicken shawarma bowl, except with no chicken, and with the consistency of soupy pickles and lettuce. They get orders right about 30% of the time, and there's no way to contact them because their phone number goes straight to voicemail with a full mailbox. I'll pass on this place moving forward.
This place is literally so good, good enough to drive 30 minutes. But today we showed up it closed an hour early. All the doors were locked and they just stared at us. Will be back, but I just have to make sure you're open before the drive.
This place has pretty awesome Greek food. The meats are superbly flavored and they have a nice quick service style like chipotle. One of the most awesome things about this place is that they make the bread fresh! I had the gyro which was expertly flavored and the green yogurt sauce included balanced out the well spiced meat and complimented the warm fresh flat bread. Their fries are more chips but they are fresh thick chips/pseudo fries and are some of the best that I've ever had. Some other positives about this place beyond the food is that there aren't a ton of places in GR that offer halal options and they are one of them! They also have vegetarian options and a large seating area. Service was amazing as well. The only negatives here is that the seating area is not very nice and feels like a food court. In addition, the food is rather expensive for a food quick service location a wrap, drink, and fries cost $23! I would give a 5 star if it were more in the $15 price range. Definitely will stop by again, but will likely forgo the drink
Food was phenomenal. Service was very friendly and I was guided through my options as it was my first time. Very unfortunate though that if you tip by credit card the workers never see that money. IMO the owners should change that. I'm the meantime, bring cash to tip!
God. I want to give them a good review, I really do. The food is delicious when it's correct. I keep giving them another chance, once a month or two. And I am perpetually disappointed. Unless you are there, in person, to correct them when they start dumping things you don't want and didn't ask for into your food, don't get Gita Pita. It doesn't matter how clear you try to make your order. It doesn't matter how many notes you write, in how many ways, or how many times you repeat yourself on the phone. They will not listen to you, and you will not get what you ordered. I have thrown away more food from Gita Pita than I have eaten due to them adding garnishes I can't eat when I didn't ask for them, and in fact SPECIFICALLY STATED I DID NOT WANT THEM. Such a disappointment.
