Bidra med feedbackAmazing food in this little hole in the wall.. Don't freak out when you pull up the building doesn't look like much but it's what inside that counts .. If your really hungry order the mess!! Scrambled eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, onions and Green peppers all smothered in gravy.. To much to eat! The service was friendly and quick .. Everyone smiling and having fun serving you
So you've got to understanding going into this that Wagon Wheel is a greasy spoon diner, kind of old fashioned place. Big, fluffy pancakes, tasty bacon, crispy hash browns. Not a huge fan of their sausage gravy but it wasn't awful. Coffee is weak, but we drink espresso at home so that may be just me! It's a tasty HUGE portion of food. Service has always been good when I've gone.
Really great place for food and old-school atmosphere. Building looks like a hole in the wall but overall this is a great place to eat with friendly service.
Friday morning in June 2019. We stopped here because of other Yelp reviewers (thanks) and were not disappointed. The owner greeted us and was very cordial--it seems she has acquired the restaurant that her father used to own. Although the facility is well-aged, everything inside seemed clean--and that includes the bathroom. I had country fried steak with eggs, american fries with grilled onions and rye toast. My son had a dish called the Hot Mess which is aptly named but quite delicious. The portions were more than adequate and all items were well prepared and presented. The service was very attentive. We would return in a heartbeat.
Great breakfast! I had the biscuits and gravy and my boyfriend had the Country Fried Steak that was as big as his head. Try their homemade white bread because I would buy that by the loaf if I could! Coffee was good. Perfect small town dinner feel!
