Paddock Place - Grand Rapids

We had such an amazing dining experience! This was our first visit, and the building itself is gorgeous, but with a very cozy atmosphere inside. Our server, Alex H., was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Alex was fun, energetic, knowledgeable, and overall, just akind, wonderful human. The whole team was fantastic, exceptionally polite, and worked together like a well-oiled machine. Wewill be back, and requesting Alex as our server!

We had a wonderful experience as we enjoyed a birthday brunch at Paddock Place last Sunday. We were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. Our server Sophia was amazing. She was attentive and friendly. (It was Halloween weekend and she was dressed as anun???? the food came out quickly and was hot. The presentation on the plates was great and it tasted even better. My wife hadthe skillet which she loved, two of us had the breakfast bowl-an absolute 10! It is a great spot for a Sunday brunch. We willcertainly return!

I loved the place the building has character, beauty and the history is well preserved. like most restaurants post pandemic, they seemed short workers (worked, overwhelmed, and apologetic), but the service was great. everyone was friendly, and if possible, attentive. that was great.

Hannah was our excellent server for a party of 5 out. she was very attentive to ensure that we were served, eaten in the time spent to make the civic play. she also ran to give our drinks to the computer to make happy hour! that is over and over fantastic service. Eating was 3 pizzas we all loved.

Celebrated our anniversary. They were out of three different dishes we tried to order and two of those were why we choose to come to the restaurant. Then the one I was able to order was a very tiny portion for $30. Before ordering we asked the server how big it was and she showed us a full plate size, but really it was lettuce that made the portion that big and just a small scoop of the crab and avocado clumped in the middle. The other meal didn’t appear to have hardly any steak in the bowl and was mostly potatoes. Food was good but not what we planned or hoped to experience. The speciality drinks we ordered were very tasty. We sat outside which was nice, but the car headlights were in eyes for much of the dinner as people sat in their cars. Overall it was expensive and disappointing.
