Bidra med feedbackWe tried out the Restaurant Week menu and were blown away...it was fabulous! We had never tried Beef Tartar and it was a revelation. The salad was excellent but paled in comparison to the Duck Five Ways (breathtaking) and the chocolate dessert (to die for). Thank you for posting the menu in advance so we could make an informed choice about which restaurant to explore. We loved everything...including the unique cocktails. Meggan (the owner) came out to chat with us, and was so personable. It's a wonderful place with great atmosphere and even better food. Loved the cocktail kits idea (of which we purchased one). We will be back!
We thought we would try the restaurant week menu and it was gross. Even though we know tar-tar is raw, we thought it would be ok since it's SUPPOSED to be top quality meat. However, there was a thick ribbon of gristle and texturally chewy pieces that didn't set us up in a good place for the rest of the meal. Salad was ok. Drinks were good. But all the other plates were mediocre to bad. We waited longer than we should've with our reservation and they seemed short-handed. The food took a long time, several tables cleared out while we waited. No one else in or vicinity looked like they opted for the resturant week menu, hats off to them.
A nice little restaurant and bar with a focus on all things whiskey. Extensive liquor list and fairly priced, but I would recommend grabbing dinner elsewhere. There 's too many other great dinner options in GR to settle for the overpriced and just okay entrees one bourbon offers. Again though, if you 're just looking for whiskey pours or cocktails with friends I 'd recommend.
We had our rehearsal dinner in the event space at One Bourbon, and we loved it! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were perfect for our event! Shout out to the bartenders for being extremely kind and knowledgable. Meagan was organized and amazing to work with throughout the planing process- we would highly recommend hosting a dinner here! :
My new favorite in Grand Rapids. The bourbon selection is phenomenal, so was the pork chop. Highly recommend the whiskey sour for after dinner. Say hello to Megan the owner who stopped by to say hello before we left.
